Support Groups

The Institute 100

The Institute 100 is a separately-funded support group for the Dallas Institute. Its goal: to present a stimulating program of events that will expand the Institute’s audience, increase its support, and involve new leaders. Thought-provoking presentations for small groups are held in unique settings. Because space at these events is limited, memberships are available on a first-come first-served basis.

The Forum

The Institute is pleased to offer Forum Luncheons as benefits for members at the Patron level and above. Events with special guest speakers are conducted at intervals during the year at elegant venues in the city.

Au Courant

Au Courant is the Institute's new young membership group (age 45 and younger). Au Courant programs will focus on the local, global community, with cultural experiences in every event - food and drink, art and media, social and political presentations and conversations will allow us to appreciate our common humanity while we explore and celebrate the differences that make us unique.

The Environmental Forum

The Environmental Forum is our new membership group, a product of the Institute's Festival of Ideas in November 2008. The purpose of the Forum is to understand and be informed about the impact of current environmental issues on our lived culture, especially cities. As an ongoing group, the Forum will aim at a holistic awareness through presentations and discussions in which theory and practice, thought and action, coincide.

We invite you to become a member of the Environmental Forum by joining the Institute at any membership level and indicating your desire to receive special notices of and invitations to Forum activities going forward. We also encourage Forum members to become involved as volunteers in the activities and programs of the group. Click here to become a member of the Institute and opt in to the Environmental Forum.
