Featuring author Dr. Diana Senechal
Dr. Diana Senechal, winner of the Institute's Hiett Prize in the Humanities last October, will return to Dallas in February for the Education Forum conducted by the Institute's Cowan Center for Education. During the Forum, she will speak about and sign her new book Republic of Noise, which runs counter to conventional wisdom in asserting the necessity of solitude for the pursuit of the highest things, including happiness and wisdom.
Signed copies of Republic of Noise will be available throughout the Education Forum, February 17-18, 2012.
