Closely following on performances of August: Osage County at the Winspear Opera House, Institute Fellows Judy and Patrick Kelly will host three conversational evenings putting Tracy Letts' 2008 Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning apocryphal epic into its proper context--the rich tradition of American family drama. Bringing the wealth of their four decades of dramatic expertise to the series, the Kellys will explore with class members Letts' Broadway blockbuster in relation to three plays from two titans of the American stage, Eugene O'Neill's Ah, Wilderness and Long Day's Journey into Night and Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie.
