Breakfast Book Group

Dr. Larry Allums

Salvage the Bones "The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid." Members of the Institute's breakfast and lunch book groups wouldn't be as judgmental as Henry in Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey, but they would invite anyone looking for good reading and enjoyable conversation to join our monthly discussions.

February 14 - Chad Harbach, The Art of Fielding
March 13 - Jesmyn Ward, Salvage the Bones
April 10 - Julian Barnes, The Sense of an Ending
May 8 - A classic novel to be chosen by the group

Second Tuesday of the month: 7:15-8:45 am
