THE CENTER FOR THE CITY

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

This conference will explore water in its fullest realm—as the beginning of all life; as source for poetic inspiration throughout the ages; as the bonding element between the material and spiritual realms; as the reason for being of almost every great city in the world. Our future depends upon our care for and honoring of the mysteries of water. Speakers include city leaders, artists, and national experts on urban and landscape design for lakes, wetlands, and natural preserves as well as water purification, renewal, and re-use.
